SONNET

Dear Pageantry

You have impacted me like no other

My thorough passion for you, unique, years

Through ups and downs, love and stress

Through couple of years, I have discovered

I still love Pageantry, like a sister

Through the agony and stress, I obsess

Over the feeling, friendship I possess

You have impacted me like none other

The feeling I get on pageant nights

Are like no other, unexplainable

The chills down my spine, the gleam of lights

This year was the first, many to come

With my family, in front of the crowd

One last time, too close, pursue, ’till get crowned.

ALPHABET POETRY

America is a nation of people

Black and white with many

Cultures and a lot of

Diversity, we are all

Equal and all

Free, that is what

God wants us to be, we

Hide our Inside

Just trying to be

Kind by

Living

Modestly and

Nurturing Others

Peacefully and sometimes

Quietly, we can be sometimes

Racist and

Socially unjust

Towards the

University of

Variety of people,

Whether we live on

Xenia, Ohio, the

Yukon or

Zimbabwe.
